Pearl & Czech Emerald Earrings:
These are cultured pearl and Czechoslovakian glass earrings. They feature matched 5-5.5mm cultured freshwater pearls (potato-shape) from the renowned White Lotus pearl farm in China and 8-mm genuine Czechoslovakian Druk glass beads. The pearls and round Druk beads are offset by 4-mm faceted, iridescent Czech crystals (vitrial finish, like black diamonds with warm fire).
These pearls are White Lotus’ A-grade; palest ivory, with exceptional nacre and luster, rare surface imperfections, and nice size/shape uniformity. One reason White Lotus pearls are exceptional is because they keep their nucleated oysters growing in a pond for at least three years; the proof is in the durable silken luster of the pearls.
Czech Druk glass is known for its shape uniformity, clarity, and color intensity. This glass is a vivid emerald green, although the earrings are available in any of my Czech glass colors (such as cobalt, ruby, amber, garnet, amethyst, teal, etc.). The pearls and glass dangle from sterling silver earwires. When ordering, please specify glass color.
