429. WS, TILT down as mitch walks under the tree and towards us. Rambo attacks from a well designed (geographically and phyically) hiding spot. This shot works well because of many factors. First of all, the dark pallet. Rambo is dressed tomatch the environment, but because he and the landscape are dark, and Mitch is dressed in light clothing our eye is drawn to Mitch and we don't know that Ramvbo is about to jump out at him. Also, the fact that Rambo is located in the bottom left hand side of the frame. If this were watched on a big screen, because we could only see part of the frame at a time we would be watching the center, and everything in that corner would be lost to us anyhow. This is a common place to hide things in the frame, but of course the illution works better on the big screen.

513. Cop looks L-R talking on a radio. He seems to be anti-framed. Teasle, Trautman, and the cop are on a bridge in the background. PAN over and rack focus to the three men. Dolly back and PAN as they come up to the officer on the radio. Dolly and PAN as Teasle walks towards us. Even this incredible sequence shot ends on a nice frame.
