Long Forgotten Is The Tale Of The Elves...
Long forgotten is the tale of the elves to others, but not to the elves themselfs. It took centuries for this place to get like it is now, a safehaven to all elves and those who wish to live with them.
I haven't been living here for long, but even in this short time, I have heard some of their tales and songs that would make a mortal man cry.
Now I have no intention to tell them all now, maybe some other day when this world is a bit calmer place and we have time to relax, but I do tell you something about the elves that you see around you.
They do not differ much from the others of their kind who you see around the world, but there is still something about them that makes you want to spend a moment or two more with them.
It was ages ago when these elves found this lovely forest that they call with the name Suela'har, it is hard to translate to the common language and it is not suppose to be translated, but it would mean something..."Where the sun never sets".
As you might have noticed, the nights here are very short and the sun here is brighter than in anywhere else, that is one of the reasons why I like it here.
Before I came here, I used to live with the dwarves of Crimson Halls. They were very caring and gentle people, but as mighty as their crimsonite halls were, they were bit too dark for my taste. So it was inevitable that I would leave that place one day.
But enough about me, I was about to tell you of these elves. Many of them used to belong to belong to the Silvanus tribe
who live much closer to the Valley of Wonders. But as the troubles started there, some decided to leave it all behind and look for another place to live, away from all the chaos and death.
When they left, just begun to travel towards the sun set. "If you find a sun set. you will be blessed by the eternal light..." That is what one of the elders said to all those who decided to leave.
And as we know, there is always a truth behind every thing that an elf says.
For decades the elves traveled, and always towards the sun set, now it might seem bit hard to do, but they had their ways, and of course, mother nature was always by their side to ensure their safety. Not even a single time did the elves doubt that they could not find
the little earthly paradise that that the elder had told them about.
And their patience got a reward in the form of endless forest and flowers more beautiful than any man made item.
And so they found this place, this place where we now stand. Little by little they build these tall towers that reach for the clouds, and if you look beyond those mountains, you will see the valley of the mages where they study everything there is to study.
And the forest that surrounds us, is guarded by unicorns and elementals and many other creatures of the forests. You might even get a glance of one of the mighty gold dragons that live in those tall mountains.
They are our friends, so worry not, just respect them and they will respect you as much.
Elves all around the world come here, little by little this place keeps growing. These towers will get taller, these walls will grow thicker...and maybe...one day all elves might live together, as one flourishing nation as they once did.
