Destiny

"Destiny" is a sumptuous strapless ballgown of dusky teal green taffeta, bordered in gold lamé lace. The attached gold mesh underskirt is double-layered at the hem, allowing the fitted bodice to flow into the full skirt. With evening gloves, barrette, necklace, earrings, and matching shoes. "Destiny" is circa 1954, and was designed exclusively for Gene by Mark Esposito, a winner of the 1997 Young Designers of America Student Competition.
