The
Flight of Robin Lakehair
By; J C Allard AKA The ¥ô¥DeathDealer®

Inspired by the pocket
novels “Prisoner of the Horned Helmet”.
By; Frank Frazetta and James Silkes
On a cold and dreary night, across the mountains we made our flight.
Fleeing for our lives we were, from the queen bitch and her cur.
When whoa! We beheld the greatest site…seated tall with armor bright
Eyes aglow in such a fright, magnificent against the pale moonlight.
A savage…axe and sword he wore, he drenched with sweat from every
pore.
With links of chain he was adorned, and on his head a helmet…horned.
Dark clouds began to stir the skies, a crimson glow shown from both
his eyes.
My mind began to fill with wonder, of whom was this man of
thunder?
Was this man here from hells dark gate, to deal our deaths and seal
our fate?
My heart beat heavily with fright, as I gazed upon the Knight.
My knees did weaken as I stared, trying to hide that I was scared.
But soon my heart did fill with glee, as we next witnessed what we
did see.
No sword was raised, but arms instead and off came the helmet from
his head.
His crimson eyes began to fade.
What devilish dues had this man paid?
His steel-blue eyes were full of passion; his face was strong in
stately fashion.
A smile came present upon his lips, and axe and sword fell from his
hips.
I met him months ago… you see? As I lie camped beneath his tree!
He had not come to bring our wrath! he was my friend, my lover…Gath.
