2002 PBR Tour Rules

1) The PBR Tour will be based upon regular games played throughout the season and the PBR Classic Tournament held at the end of the year.

2) Tour points will be based on wickets and stakes scored. One point for each one scored.

3) Points will be the same for the regular season games and the tournament.

4) A player's highest six regular season games will count toward a player's tour point total. Additional regular season games played will not count toward a player's tour point total. In order to have an official PBR Regular season game, the following criteria must be met:

a) The game must be played using official PBR Tour Rules.
b) Three tour members must participate for a game to count in the official standings.
c) A list including the participants and their wicket scores for each game must be submitted to the PBR Tour Headquarters.

5) The PBR Classic will be held at the end of the PBR season. It will consist of the top 12 players in the regular season point standings. The top three players from two qualifying games will advance to the Championship Round. Qualifier 1 will consist of seeds 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 1. Qualifier 2 will consist of seeds 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, 2. All points scored in the PBR Classic will be added to a player's tour point total. The player ending the tournament with the most points will be the PBR Tour Champion. It is possible to have separate champions for the tour and the PBR Classic Tournament.

6) The PBR Tour will keep statistics on overall wickets points, game wins and tour points.

7) To sustain membership for the upcoming season, a player must participate in six official PBR Tour games.
