This page is mainly an information page. In it, you will find the following items. Updates: If you are a regular "CORTEZN" webite visitor, you may want to open this page first every time you visit. I will post updates to the site here. It will include dates, so you will know what was added or changed since your last visit. This page will also include what you can expect to find in the near future, and what I am working on to accomplish the latest "project."

This update page was last updated on 9-16-2000.
The tour of our '66 Clark Cortez (#1010) was last updated on 11-9-98.
The 1973 Kent model factory tour was added to this site on 11-10-98.
The Mayan trip was added 10-25-98 and revised on 6-23-99 .
I finally have the pictures added to the Mayan trip (accessed from main page). I would recommend that as you read the article, you don't click on the pictures right away (All of the pictures can be enlarged simply by clicking on them) Read the entire article and view the smaller thumbnail pictures first. Then, go back and click on the ones that interest you. You will need to use your "back" button on your browser which will bring you back to the beginning of the article each time.
What to expect on your next visit?... I am currently working on a Cortez history page. With assistance from Isabella Brumwell, Fred Franke (past editor and creator of the "El Periodico") and Jan & Tony Noto (editors of the National Cortez Club Newsletter) I am currently gathering information and hope to have more posted soon.
Please sign the guest book (at least once) and remember to email me if you should make a mistake. Your entry is not "etched in stone" I can correct entries, and make changes if necessary.
I am always open to suggestions for additions to this website. Email me with your thoughts...
What can you expect to see on this website in the future? I would like to add a parts reference list. How about some "how to" information?... I already have a couple of Cortezes on the "other Cortezes" page (text link from main page) Send me a digital picture via email, and I will add it on.

Any information or pictures that I did not produce, I have permission to use, and have given the proper person credit for same. Any use of information or pictures from this site without my written permission, is strictly prohibited. Please don't spoil it for me or others. If you see something you would like to use from this website, please ask first. I will be happy to accommodate if I can. If you want to print something out for your own use, feel free to do so!

Suggestions on how to best view this website

This website specifically, was designed using Javascript. The Javascript used here works best with the browser Netscape.
If you are using NETSCAPE, skip down to bottom of page. (If not,read on at next bullet)
If you are using AOL or EXPLORER, please read on.
I have found a FREE download for Netscape communicator, and will list the location on the next line. (see next bullet)
Click HERE for the FREE download. Look for "Full Download of Communicator 4.5 If you're using another browser, choose either the Windows 95/98/NT or Mac PowerPC version of Communicator."
There is more than one choice here. One is for those who already have an earlier version of Netscape. There are 2 full download versions of Communicator. Make sure to use the correct one.
I will assume at this point that you have AOL or another browser without Netscape or Explorer. If you access the internet with whatever your ISP is (Internet service provider) You simply minimize the ISP and use Netscape to "surf the web" with.
I have without a doubt left something out in this above explanation. I am requesting feedback from those who already use Netscape successfully and those of you who still have questions concerning this page. I will be adding suggestions (in the near future) on how you may want to change settings on you computer. For example, most of the pictures on this website are 16.7 million colors (is your computer set to "24 bit"?) Please check back here for more hints and ideas.
