Peacehaven Residents Association

The Association’s web site is not large it is here to let you know what is happening in our local area. We are NOT POLITICAL, and insist that peoples political views what ever they are are left outside. This is because we are the only body that is totally independent of local government, allowing us to comment freely on what either Peacehaven Town Council, Lewes District Council or East Sussex County Council propose for our town. We are naturally very willing to let you know how to contact them and links are available form this site.

Our membership is available to the residents of Peacehaven provided that they do live here. Each member receives once a quarter a newsletter called the Clarion, this gives notice of the next quarterly meeting and general information that is relevant to the Town. Members are encouraged to come along to these meetings so that the committee may know what actions they should follow regarding problems in the town.

We will if required campaign for better or improved facilities, and do watch what our councillors do in the name of the electors.

There has been a great deal said recently about the new road calming schemes in the Towns of Peacehaven and Telscombe. We the Residents’ Association are keen to hear both the views of the residents and those of the planners. To this end there is a special meeting to be called on FRIDAY 26 APRIL at 7.30 pm in the Meridian Centre. Come along and hear why they have done this in our name.
