married William Lamb. He vowed never to marry.

King from 1820-30. This portrait was painted in 1815.

Augusta Ada Byron, the daughter of Byron and Annabella Milbanke Byron (later, Countess of Lovelace. She
was named after Byron's half-sister, Augusta, who he is rumored to have had
an affair with. Ada is also rumored to be the first computer programmer. Check out the
book, Ada: Enchantress of Numbers by Betty A. Toole, to read letters she wrote to Byron on the description of the first
computer.
