The Christian religions, since they follow the Bible, can be a difficult synthesis with Paganism. If you believe in the Bible, then you will have to reconcile the differences within your soul before you become Pagan since the Bible prohibits WitchCraft. But if you do not believe everything in the Bible, or if you can believe that WitchCraft is not prohibited, then you can certainly be Catholic and Pagan. I know of many Christian Pagans.

Dear Ygraine Andrea,
When you choose one God or Goddess to worship then that God becomes your "patron" deity. If you would like to become a Priestess of Athena, then hold a special ritual for her. Introduce yourself and tell her that you would like to become her Priestess. Ask her to guide you. Then, address her in your spells and rituals.
Yes, you can perform spells without a wand. A wand is simply a tool to direct your energy. The only real requirement for spells is your mind! Use your finger to direct energy.
