Merry Meet, i've only just started to research wicca
but am confused with the dates of the sabbats as i'm from australia and
all my info seems to be american. Say Yule is in summer instead of
winter. does this matter if so, what should i do?

Dear Wrenaeth,
Many Pagans do switch Yule to to another date when in the southern hemisphere. The point is that Yule be celebrated on the winter solstice and Litha on the summer solstice so as to follow the spirit of the wheel of the year. Ultimately it is up to you and what makes sense in your celebration of the wheel of the year.
