Dear Delriece...

I was born and raised an Episcopal and I know that there are such things as Chrisitian Wiccans. But if i do try to pursue Witchcraft and my belief in Jesus, does God consider that a sin? I mean, my friend, who is extremely religious, told me that if i practiced witchcraft, that i would go to Hell for that. is that true?

Dear Friend,

There is no rule in Wicca that says that you cannot believe in Jesus and, indeed, I know many Christian-Wiccans. In the Pagan religion, there is no "Hell" so, for example, I do not believe that I can go to "Hell" for anything since I do not believe in the existance of the place at all! However, there are parts in the Bible that forbid WitchCraft. If you believe in the Bible, then you must reconcile your practices with what you interpret therin. Certainly, it is not my place to say what is or is not a sin, since I am not Christian. I suggest you speak with a Christian Priest about your concerns.

Light!
Delriece
