Dear Delriece... Merry Meet,
I have few questions to ask you about Goddess Mary and my
Altar...( i have consider to buy a statue of Virgin Mary and place it on my
Altar ).
1) Can i set up my altar in Wicca style and dedicate it only to my
patron Goddess the Virgin Mary ??? Or should i dedicate to both Gods and
Goddesses from other Pantheon too ???
2) What Color of Candles, Flowers,Gemstones,herbs..etc..that is SACRED
or ASSOCIATES with my patronese Goddess The Virgin Mary ???
3)Do Wiccan Invoke Saints in their ritual ??? Which saint do they
invoke mostly??

Dear DarkRaven,
You may certainly choose Mary as your only Patron Goddess. Though many Pagans choose equal numbers of Gods and Goddesses for balance, it is not required in any way if you want to pay homage to a specific deity. As for flowers, herbs and stones, if you can find no appropriate correspondances in the Bible, it would be best if you choose those things which remind you most of the Goddess. For the virgin Mary, you may wish to choose white and blue flowers and peaceful herbs such as chamomile. Correspondances exist to link your own mind to the subject at hand, thus, those that you choose yourself have the most significance. Of the Christian Wiccans that I know that invoke saints, they choose a saint particular to the spell or working at hand.
