Dear Delriece...

I'm a polytheist. I don't know who to turn to when I have religious questions, because I can't seem to find anybody whose faith agrees with mine.

I don't know how to go about getting to know a god or goddess... I mean, how does one approach a deity? It would be simpler if I could decide on a traditional path and follow the rituals it lays out, but I can't!

I'm clinically depressed, and with no religious 'family' and no gods to devote myself to, I am feeling very much alone and purposeless.

Dear Adela,

In order to have a more personal relationship with deity, many polytheists choose to identify with one or of the many Gods and Goddesses and name them as their Patron Deity. I suggest that you choose one to help you through this tough time. You may wish find your Patron through researching your pantheon and finding one whose traits you admire. Or you may wish to sit in receptive silence and meditate on how your Patron Deity looks and feels within you first. Above all, use prayer to pour your heart out and initiate communication.

Light!
Delriece
