Dear Delriece...
When I was in Winnipeg visiting my Dad (I was 17 or 18
yrs old - I'm now 23), I was home all alone one summer afternoon. I had been lounging
around by the pool in my backyard all day - it was sunny and very hot
outside...I'd gone in to the house to get a drink and turn on some music. The
music was in the basement - I simply had pushed "Play" on the CD control (It was
dance music). There were 1 or 2 other CD's in the player at that time
(Country music, my dad's). Now back upstairs in the kitchen getting my juice
I am completely taken aback by the volume on the stereo rising beyond
its capabilities (IT WAS BLASTING - so loud it chased me right out of
the house)! Now I thought that was the weird part: it wasn't! I didn't
recognize the sounds from the CD! It wasn't any music I'd heard ever before -
it was, as best I can describe - LOUD SNAKE CHARMING MUSIC - and I had the
freakiest chills and evil feeling around me.
I ran outside. Every time I opened the door to check it, it still
got louder. For as loud as it was, I should've been able to hear the
sound from outside - but I couldn't - as soon as I closed the door from the
outside, I charming music still continued.
That was it!! Nothing else freaky happened. It didn't stop till my
dad got home though. When he pulled in the driveway, I ran up to him
screaming something utterly weird was going on inside - he looked doubtful at
first, then proceeded to go inside to check it out. Nothing out of the
ordinary! Everything was back to normal. What the heck happened????
Since I've returned home to Toronto, I frequently have dreams about
my basement of my dads' house being haunted and I actually won't even
go back to visit him there because I'm too frightened!
About 2-3 months before this happened, a girl I knew from High
School was thought to have put a Spell on people and I may have been one of
them???? We both liked the same guy....
Strange though....since this music thing happened, I have had the
most horrible luck in the world!!! I almost lost my mom in a freak car
accident in 99! I've been in 3 car accidents (never injured though) and
every little thing that can possibly go wrong - has! I'm telling ya', real BAD
LUCK.
I've never really been into witchery or spells/curses - but I do
belive in its possibilities.
Can you possibly tell me what the hell happened to me that day - I
didn't see a ghost, but I may as well have (cuz I was frightened to
DEATH)!
Please RESPOND!!!!!! No one has ever been able to explain this to me!!!!

Obviously something very scary happened to you and now it's negatively affecting your life. That's why I'm going to recommend that you start seeing a therapist. I'm not denying what happened to you, and I don't think you're crazy. But you do need some help coping with your experience.
When people believe they have been cursed, they may begin sabotaging themselves and attribute all bad things that happen to this curse. Since your mom and you survived the accidents I would call you blessed! But if you truly believe you have been cursed, prayer can pull you away from this and bring you comfort and protection.
