Dear Sarah,
You didn't give me any idea of how far along you are in your studies. But I can give a few tips. The first one being to read all the books you can on the subject! Don't begin magick until you know you are ready and until you have been practicing daily Grounding meditations. Begin prayer right away and Sabbat and Esbat rituals as soon as you can.
