Dear Delriece...
This may seem a silly question, but it's something that I've been
curious about for a while now. What is your take on the Harry Potter books?
I'm well aware that most of the stuff in Rowling's books is pure
fantasy, so I'm curious how a real witch feels about them. Do you find them
cute? Silly? Insulting? I know this isn't exactly the most pressing of
questions, but as someone who enjoyed the books, I'd be interested in
your answer.

Dear Lunarhound,
Not such a silly question since I have also enjoyed all of the Harry Potter books as well as the movie! Of course I find them silly and cute since they are marvelously written children's books. I do not feel insulted at all since they are clearly fantasy and far removed from reality and do not claim to be non-fiction! In my experience, Witches are more accepting of such playful toying with the word "witch". Though there are productions by the popular media, such as "The Craft", of which many from the Pagan community disapprove.
