Dear Delriece...
My mother has not been able to sleep through the night in over 2 years.
She barely sleeps 2 hours at a time. She's been to doctors but all
they ever do is throw anti depressents and sleeping drugs at her and they
are not working. So far there hasn't been any medical excuses either.
I've been suggesting researching vitamins maybe b-12 taking walks or
possibly taking up yoga but i really have no knowledge at all. She says
she's not having nightmares but has admitted to feeling really anxious
before falling asleep. Any advise on where to look for her problem.

Dear Theresa,
If you have exhausted physical explaination, your mother needs to seek therapy for her sleep problems. There are many theraputic treatments available for such anxiety. Once she has done that, she can also make sure to get regular exercise, but not right before bed time, and to keep a very regular schedule.
Light!
