Now, the reason I place the circle so high in the pyramid is that skaters by now should be aware of what real tracing is. It is not just tracing the circles. Here is where the rhythmic skating w spoke of earlier should have developed a good edge quality. they should hgave a mental pictire of eht circles and the movements in between. How many times have you heard, “I thought this was World Class?” they didn’t trace as good as the little kids.
If a skater did not learn his fundamentals properly, he will find that the difficulty of the figures point out his weaknesses in World Class.
