| Lets Skate! The following tips will
help you get the most out of your lessons:
- .Arrive at the skating center at least 15 minutes before
your lesson begins. This will allow adequate time for putting on your skates-
- During the lessons, be attentive to what your coach is
saying and doing.
- Be a good sport by not talking during your class time.
- Keep food and drinks and gum off the skating floor.
- Be a courteous skater, watch where you are going, and skate
under control.
- Protect your roller skates:
- Keep your boots and wheels clean-
- Have your skates serviced periodically.
- Make sure your toe stops are securely fastened and are not
excessively worn .Check to make sure that the trucks on your skates have the proper
flexibility .Make sure that your wheels are rolling freely.
- Skates should not rattle. If something is loose, check with
your instructor.
- Relax, smile, and have fun
