Lets face it, I am a great photographer...well I do have an excellent shot every few tries :) Here's a collection of some of my favorite shots I took at a dog show. Okay, so they're edited a bit, but what good photo isn't? Most of these have no changes except some minor trimming, brightness, and contrast tweaks. Hehe, enjoy... *** By the way, you have no right to copy or edit any one of these images, I took each and every one of them, they are mine, and will continue to stay that way. *** |
...To take a nice photo, you should really start off with a nice subject...

...doesn't really matter whether your subject is tall and slender...

...or if the subject's skin is literally hanging loose :)...

...you have to know how to pinpoint a rare, naughty moment...

...and edit the picture nicely too }:D ...

...try a single subject, one that stands out...

...or a group makes for a interesting effect...

...a group of different species might look interesting, depending on how you look at it

...play around with sizes, your picture can be big...

...or it can be little...

...The subjects' emotion matters a lot, a happy subject usually looks...

...better than a sleepy one...

...different positions are the key, though standing still looks a bit too disciplined...

...or sitting...

...try taking a picture from a different angle, it can make some of the most gorgeous dogs look...weird...

...have your subject move toward you...

...then have your sunject move away from you...

...try a close-up of your subject...

...or try a full-body view...

...if your subject just won't cooperate, try putting a lure in front of his nose...

...his eyes will light up with excitement...

...he'll follow your every command...

...and remember there's no 'bad' pictures, only 'bad' angles at looking at them... :)
