| Penny and Nickie: | These lovely girls are my gerbils. Sisters. Penny, I beleive, is an 'Argente Cream', while Nickie is 'dove' or something like that. They just turned 1 year old September 1st! |
| The Fishies... | I only have 3 fish left :( Most dropped during the summer, while they were in my mom's care. My favorite Cory died, at 2 years old, I'm surprised she made it that long. Oh well, now I'm left with two Dwarf gouramies, and a gorgeous Pearl gourami. Heh, there's a Petland around the corner, and I'm too lazy to go that far ;) |

| First thing's First | I absolutely *hate* it when I tell people that I know more about dogs than they do, they always look at me squint-eyes thinking I'm not realizing what I'm saying. I really do know more about dogs than most people, not to offend anyone...I've been reading books, talking to owners, breeders, visiting websites, AKC, Westminster...well, since I was 5! Often I tend to go into a lecture from answering a simple question. People look at me like i don't know what I'm saying! Grah, that just pisses me off at times |
| High School | Though I only started it this year, and its really not that bad, I do have complaints. The school is just plain HUGE! Have you heard of how I got lost on my way to the gym? The first day I wandered the halls until I somehow bumped into it. The second day, I never did find it. I wandered the endless halls for 30min. By the end I gave up, and sat the rest of the period in an RC. Also, I don't have a lunch period, I only have free bands A and J, and they stop serving lunch H band :( And I don't like my math teacher either! |
| People that never talk | You know what its like sitting with a really quiet friend for like half the band? You're bored out of your mind, and your quiet friend, seems blank too. Then someone comes over, or you see someone, and take your quiet friend and go over to the person you see. Then you strike a conversation about nothing (but hey, better than sitting bored), and then you look back at your quiet friend, and she's not saying anything. You kinda feel bad for your friend sitting left out (but at least you have a conversation to attend). You tell your quiet friend 'well say something', inviting them to join the conversation, and they just shake their head, making it look like they have nothing to say. I just have that. |
| AOHell | No Explanation needed, but i'll rant some anyway. Okay, so I have like no free space on my system (literally), and AOHell decides to have some fatal error or something, "if this error persists, please reinstall, yadda yadda yadda". So the error persisted, so I dug up one of AOHell 6.0 CDs lying around (which I should be using as candleholders, according to my creativity). So I install that, and guess what! Its version 4.0! I tried all of my '6.0' CDs, and they all had 4.0. Ugh, angry indeed, I tried to use that until I found a different type of CD (downloading it would've taken 6 hours). No problem, I can even live without the internet for a few days if i had to (aren't i amazing? As long as I don't have to use 4.0...) The only problem...the Java wasn't working, so the JRC didn't work (now that is what I call a tragedy!). Well, forget all the junk inbetween, I'm currently back to 5.0 =\ |

| Artificial Life being *alive* | No. A certain man (anyone know who?) once said 'every living thing is made of cells, and comes from a different organism', meaning it has a mother (not exactly, plants come from previous plants, amoebas stretch to make two, but I'm sure you get my point). I'll use Creatures and Petz (both created by Mindscape) as an example. They may be able to 'reproduce' in the game, but where do the generation 1 individuals come from? The Pound/Hatchery didn't create them, or did it? To back that up, neither is made of actual cells, nor does it need them to function. Both were 'written', and you cannot 'write' a living thing. That is my two cents. |
