These fics take place during a war. War is a very ugly thing. As with all wars there is the everpresent possiblity of capture, torture, rape, death, and other equally gruesome things. There is also a possiblity of two soldiers finding comfort and love in each other's arms. This is not the fault of the reader or the writer, that's just how war is . . .
