So you wanna submit fanart, eh? Well, there’re rules and a procedure. Here we go.

Submission Rules:

1) Absolutely NO PLAGIARISM! If we, the webmistresses of 3D, catch or hear of anyone taking existing fanart and claiming it as their own, they will be removed from the 3D archives and their names and e-mails will be posted, along with warnings that they’re known plagiarists.

2) Do not send fanart directly to the webmistresses! Our inbox can’t handle it. If possible, send a link to your pic. If you can’t, then please send an e-mail telling us so and we will e-mail you back, telling you when you can send the pic as an attachment.

3) No bitmap images! Please keep your pic(s) as .jpg’s or .gif’s.

4) Resize your pic! If you have to scroll up-and-down and side-to-side to see all of the pic, or if it can be seen just as well without scrolling at all, then please resize it so it fits the screen as good as possible.

5) Mark your pic appropriately. Appropriate markings are as follows:

lemon --- sex scene
lime --- not-quite-sex
OOC --- out of character (abnormal behavior for that character)
AU --- alternate universe
angst --- tear-jerker, emotional pain/torture
NonConsentualSituation/rape --- if a character gets raped (please note how graphc it is)
kink --- use of sex toys, etc.
shota --- older men with younger boys (15 and under)
lolikon --- older men with younger girls (15 and under)
yaoi --- male/male sex between main characters
shounen-ai --- male/male romance between main characters
yuri --- female/femal sex between main characters
shoujo-ai --- female/female romance between main characters
threesome/foursome/etc. --- if there is sex between Trowa, Dorothy and another character
BDSM --- bondage/domination-submission/sadism-masochism
WarmAndFuzzyFeelings/fluff/sap --- mushy romance (flowers, teddy bears, fics with love-bubbles floating in the background)
"x" --- indicates sex between two characters. The penetrator goes before the ‘x’ and the penetrated goes after. Dx3 would be Dorothy using some sort of toy (or whatever) to penetrate Trowa with
"+" --- pursuing/interested in. 3+D would be Trowa pursuing/in love with Dorothy

Basically the same thing as when submitting a fic. Why all these rules? Simple: 3D doesn't want any underage persons finding the site and viewing the contents, seeing something that offends them (or their parents seeing something that offends them) and 3D getting sued or threatened with a lawsuit. We're covering our asses. Now, obviously some warnings go with others, such as kink, BDSM and lemon. ^.^ Please don't expect the 3D webmistresses to label your pic for you. We'll look at each pic, certainly, and if you're missing a major label we'll add it, but do not expect us to label your pic for you. Use your own good judgement.
