*Dorothy Catalonia comes from a rich family. Nothing is known about her mother (it's assumed that she died when Dorothy was very young) but her father was General Catalonia before he died, also when Dorothy was very young. She was taken in and raised by her grandfather, Duke Dermail, who is the one most likely to blame for her later views on war. Dorothy is very intelligent, very sarcastic and very cynical. She's also very not afraid to tell the world what she thinks and to fuck off if they don't like it. However, we're shown a different, more sensitive side of Dorothy when Duke Dermail dies. It's only for a moment, but it shows that she's not as tough as she pretends. We also see this side again after her duel with Quatre on Libra, during her conversation with Trowa. On the whole, though, Dorothy is very ruthless when it comes to getting what she wants. She's an avid fan of war and battles, though she's never been in one directly. She's a spectator. As mentioned previously, though, there's a side of Dorothy that is rarely ever seen, perhaps even by Dorothy herself.
